Alamo State Park, AZ

We arrived in AZ beginning of Feb.  Alamo is a beautiful state park.  Many hiking/biking trails and wonderful views.  This is one of the many state parks closing across the country due to budget reasons. There is no cell tower/WiFi/grocery stores out here.  It's at 40 drive into this park off the main road.  At night the fighter jets perform routine exercises.  At night we would go outside and look up and watch for them.  Besides the bizillions stars out there it was neat to watch the airshow.  In the early morning hours and late evening you could hear the burrows off in the distance.  The burrows were brought here for mining  purposes and left after they were no longer needed.
