Yellowstone National Park, WY

Some beautiful views of God's world.

                                               Bee Hive Geyser
This was by far the most impressive geyser.  We were quite surprised when it erupted.  We could feel the power and force even sitting at a distance. Old faithful is supposed to be the favorite of most people but we were more impressed with this one. It's interesting shape, in the form of a cocoon was  neat to see. It was well worth the wait.

Some of the sulfur areas.....

Where the buffalo roam......

Crators of the Moon, Idaho

Located in the Snake River Plain in central Idaho.  It's volcanic area represents one of the best preserved flood basalt areas in the continental United States.

We are walking out onto what was once fields of hot lava flows.

These underground tunnels were left by the lava tubes. After cooling in places, some of the service areas collapsed leaving tunnels throughout the area.

It was pitch black in parts of these tunnels.   If you didn't have a flashlight you could not see a thing.
